Corporation Pop
Making an imaginary drink come to life.
A good friend of mine had an idea for a gift for his girlfriend and asked if I could help bring it to life. When she was little, her granddad used to call tap water "corporation pop", a playful way to encourage her to drink more water. The phrase stuck with her, so he wanted to turn it into a personal illustration that captured the memory.
We collaborated on a fun, slightly rustic image that included subtle nods to her granddad: the name ‘Normans’, a lucky family rainbow, and hand-drawn Bradford lettering. We intentionally left in quirks and imperfections, the goal wasn’t to make something polished, but something full of character and care.
