Faces
I’ve always found faces tricky to draw, so this series was all about practice.
I’ve always found faces challenging to draw, so I started this series as a way to practice without pressure. I kept the illustrations simple and graphic, focusing more on shape and expression than detail, just enough to enjoy the process without overcomplicating things. As I got more comfortable, I began experimenting with small animations to bring some of the characters to life. I also chose an intentionally alternative colour palette, bold and a little offbeat, to clearly steer away from realism and let the work sit in a more stylised, playful space.
