Line by Line
Illustrations of animals drawn one mark at a time. A slow, satisfying process that lets the personality of each creature emerge as it goes.
These illustrations were made for my sister, capturing two of her favourites, her little dog Finn, and the ever charming red panda. Each piece is built up using countless individual strokes to create the texture and detail of the fur. The slow, methodical process of layering each line was incredibly rewarding, allowing the characters to gradually take shape on the page.
